Things you might be wondering.

What is PEP?
PEP (Post-Exposure Prophylaxis) is a course of antiretroviral medication taken after possible HIV exposure to prevent infection. It is taken daily for 28 days and is most effective when started as soon as possible — ideally within 24 hours, and no later than 72 hours after exposure.
Will my visit be confidential?
Yes. Your consultation, records, and treatment are strictly confidential. We do not share your information with anyone without your consent. Many of our patients come to us specifically because of our discreet approach.
How much does it cost?
Pricing depends on the specific medication regimen the doctor recommends after assessment. The doctor will explain the cost clearly during your call, before you commit to anything.
What if I'm past 72 hours?
Please still call. The doctor can advise on testing, monitoring, and other appropriate steps based on your situation. Even if PEP is no longer the right option, you should not be left without medical guidance.
Are there side effects?
Most people tolerate PEP well. Some experience mild side effects such as nausea, headache, or fatigue in the first few days. The doctor will go through everything you need to know and what to do if side effects occur.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just your IC or passport. The doctor will tell you on the call exactly what to expect and bring when you visit the clinic.
